Glyntraian Community Council (GCC), in partnership with Rural\nDevelopment Agency, Cadwyn Clwyd, has called a public meeting to discuss the\npreferred option to be taken forward by the Council for the future use of the\nredundant Ysgol Pontfadog site. The village primary school in Pontfadog was\nclosed in July 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting will take place at 7:30pm on Thursday 30th January at the Oliver Jones Memorial Hall, Dolywern.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One-to-one stakeholder discussions, feedback forms and small\nforums were conducted by the Council\u2019s community engagement consultant over the\nautumn and brought forth several emerging themes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A comprehensive opinion survey asking householders to score\ntheir preferences on those ideas was delivered to the majority of households in\nthe Glyntraian area in the first week of January. Responses are currently being\nanalysed and the results will be revealed at the public meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project has received funding through the Welsh Government\nRural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014 – 2020, which is funded by\nthe European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
